The band, who came together at a house party in 1977 soon took the world by surprise with their party classic, ‘Rock Lobster’, in early 1978.
The tour will see the group join forces with Simple Minds for a run of shows as part of the Day on the Green festival, which will take place in wineries and parks in Perth, the Yarra Valley, the McClaren Vale, the Hunter Valley and Mt Cotton. The B-52s will also play four stadium shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland and Christchurch.
