Australian artists take center stage in Melbourne's cultural diversity week

New Music Documentary Series On Display At Immigration Museum

A range of prominent Australian musicians, artists and athletes will feature in a new documentary series premiering at Melbourne's Immigration Museum as part of Cultural Diversity Week.

Remi, Ecca Vandal, Adrian Eagle and more will appear in the Voice For Change videos recounting their stories of experienced racism, disenfranchisement and marginalization.

 

Also viewable online, the documentary focuses on Australian artist's personal journeys and challenges in a bid to inspire young people to "follow their dreams and ambitions", according to the Voice For Change Website.

 

 

 

The documentary will open on Saturday March 16, and will also hold accounts from artists and athletes B Wise, Krown, FlexMami, Mirrah, Majak Daw, Darcy Vescio, Ngaiire, MoMO and P-UniQue.

 

Created by the Mushroom Group, an Australia and New Zealand music and entertainment group, this will be the second installment of the documentary which debuted last year.

 

Following Cultural Diversity Week, the documentary will be remain on display until Sunday May 19.
