Apogee reveals details of Jam+ USB interface

New Updates for the Popular Portable Recording Interface

Originally released back in 2010, the immensely popular and extremely small Apogee Jam was widely praised for its convenience and clarity as a digital instrument input for GarageBand on iOS and MAC. Eight years later, the all-new Jam+ is now compatible with Windows and has received a beautiful new face lift to further build upon what was already a very solid product.

Boasting an updated, sturdier metal chassis and even better audio resolution thanks to its PureDIGITAL circuitry, Apogee's Jam+ will allow anyone, anywhere to connect their guitar, bass, keyboard and, via an adapter (sold seperately), even a dynamic vocal mic straight into their iPhone or Laptop to record 24-bit/96kHz studio quality audio on the go.

The stereo output will let you monitor your tracks via either headphones or powered studio speakers, and now features both a clean and drive input mode to offer a more natural overdriven tone that will give any amplifier or effects plugin a more realistic sound.

If the hardware functionailty isn't quite enough for you, the new Jam+ comes with a free copy of Positive Grid's BIAS JAM FX when you register your product. This professional quality plug-and-play software will give users access to a bundle of three premium amp models, six effects and a collection of essential pedals to mess around with whenever inspiration strikes, no matter where in the world you happen to be.

Apogee products are available in Australia through Sound Distribution.
