Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian announces Australian spoken word tour

Scott Ian, rhythm guitarist for heavy metal legends Anthrax, has announced his plans to embark on a spoken word tour around Australia.

The news was shared late last night during a surprise interview with Ian on triple j’s metal program The Racket. The ‘One Man Riot’ tour will see the guitarist stop for a chat in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.

 

 

As one of the founding members of Anthrax back in 1981, Ian is sure to bring insight from decades in the industry and enormous success in the art of music to audiences across the country. He’ll share stores about “the people, the experiences and the mischief” of Anthrax over the past 37 years.

Monday September 24: Dunstan Playhouse, Adelaide, SA

Wednesday September 26: Goldfields Theatre, Melbourne, VIC

Saturday September 29: Metro Theatre, Sydney, NSW

Monday October 1: The Tivoli, Brisbane, QLD
