Anthrax, Every Time I Die, Fallout Boy members reunite supergroup The Damned Things

Comprised of Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley, Fallout Boy guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley, the supergroup also appear to be joined by Alkaline Trio bassist Dan Andriano. Previously, bass duties were performed by Every Time I Die’s Josh Newton.

The Damned Things upcoming LP, High Crimes, is set for release on Friday April 25, marking almost a full decade since the release of the group’s first record. Speaking to Kerrang Magazine, Trohman gave a tantalising sneak peek of the band’s new material, claiming “I’ve been sitting with the demos for nearly two years, and I still haven’t got sick of any of it…I really like all these songs. It’s the first time I’ve listened to a record and found there’s not a lot I would change.”

With the recently reunited supergroup scheduled to appear alongside Rob Zombie, Judas Priest and Black Label Society at the Welcome to Rockville Festival in Florida on May 4, it’s safe to assume that we can expect  to hear new material from The Damned Things soon.
