‘Missing You’, which features on the outfit’s super successful sixth studio album Future Hearts, has been widely adored by their painstakingly loyal fan base. The song touches on very topical subject matter for modern day teenagers, namely, substance abuse, irrational self loathing and the unbreakable bounds of friendship. All Time Low has truly followed through with their trademark honesty, pleasing old and new listeners alike.
The new music video accompanying ‘Missing You’ truly does prove that the band reciprocates the love that their fans have been hurling at them for years. It follows the members surprising some of their most devoted fans on Skype and having almost absurdly normal conversations. Lead vocalist and guitarist Alex Gaskarth explains that ‘[they’ve] always felt like the videos for [their] songs are a chance to do something outside the box…this time around, [they] took that one step further and used it as an opportunity to connect with ATL fans all over the world and find out how the band, and music in general, has played a role in their lives’.
