Slash announces new album with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators

The Guns ‘N Roses guitarist has worked with Kennedy on multiple other occasions, including for his 2010 self-titled solo debut. The group then went on to release two albums under the name Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators: Apocalyptic Love in 2012, followed by 2014’s World On Fire.

The group features Kennedy on vocal duties alongside drummer Brent Fitz, bassist Todd Kerns, and guitarist Frank Sidoris. While the name of the new LP is yet to be shared and details on the release date are scarce, it looks like the record could be arriving within the next few months.

“I’m excited about the new stuff we put together for this next record; it’s got some cool songs and it’s got a great live feel,” Slash said in a press release. “I’ve been working with Myles, Brent and Todd for about eight years now. It’s been an amazing ride so far; as a band we continue to get better, which is great. With the addition of Frank since the World on Fire tour, I feel we have hit a great, creative stride which I definitely think shows on this next record.”
