Known as the creator of the ‘Shovel Guitar’, Scallon is multi-instrumentalist who has covered the likes of Cannibal Corpse and Slayer with a Banjo and Ukulele. More recently Scallon posted a Banjo-orientated cover of Metallica’s ‘Blackened’.
Scallon frequently posts covers of acclaimed metal anthems such as ‘Cowboys From Hell’ and ‘Raining Blood’ though Facebook, Twitter and his Youtube channel, which has almost 600,000 subscribers and counting.
There doesn’t seem to be anything stopping Scallon and his head-banging renditions. His skills on Guitar, Banjo, Ukulele and shovel guitar are spectacular to watch.
