The Wombats are set to be supported by Liverpool-based Circa Waves, who have been turning plenty of heads with their single ‘T-Shirt Weather’, which debuted at #7 on the British charts.

SXSW favourites MS MR are going to be accompanied by George Maple and also Tigertown for their Splendour Sideshows.

Sydney based singer/producer George Maple has garnered a heap of praise after the release of her debut EP Vacant Space. Support from triple J and Radio 1 in the UK and Pitchfork has helped push her along and secure key support slots for acts such as Little Dragon and Flume.

Sydney’s Tigertown will also be there in support. After solid performances at SXSW and The Great Escape festival they’ve earned the right to rub shoulders with the big boys.

Widely considered in England to be the British saviours of Rock, The Vaccines will play their Splendour sideshows with compatriots Palma Violets. The UK buzz band have been frequenting the pages of NME and Q Magazine recently, with the latter declaring their album is ‘one of the best debut albums of the decade.’

British electronica trio Years & Years make their way to Australia for Splendour following trips to Europe, New York and their first every UK headline tour.

They’ll be sharing the stage with Panama, an act that began their year at Primavera Sound Festival and debuted their live show last years Field Day. With performances at Leads and Reading festivals, Panama is destined for big things.

London’s Wolf Alice have been riding the waves generated by their 2014 breakthrough EP Creature Songs. Their debut album, due for release in June, features their new single ‘Giant Peach’, which is currently on rotation on triple j.

They’ll be joined by Adelaide’s Bad//Dreems, who have been creating a lot of interest amongst the rock and roll fraternity. They’ve toured with the likes of Cosmic Pyschos, The Sunny Boys, The Preatures and Violent Soho, so you know they come from a good pedigree,

Pennsylvania four-piece The Districts self-recorded and self-released their 2012 EP Kitchen Songs, a release that earned them a great deal of respect in contemporary rock world.

They’ll be joined by two of the most promising acts in Australian alternative rock in Harts and Jack Ladder and the Dreamlanders.

Multi instrumentalist Harts has been pushing the boundaries with his debut LP Daydreamer, while Jack Ladder has been something of a mainstay in the alternative music world for some time. His 2001 release Hurtsville, put him on the may while his latest record Playmates has solidified his position as one of the darlings of Australian indie music.
