Roland Has Unveiled Its System-8 Polysynth

Released as part of Roland’s epic 909 day presentation – a massive 24 hour live streamed event that offered new products and company insights to the legions of fans – the new Polysynth features three plug out options onboard, meaning the quality of your sound is ever expanding. With an internal sound-engine, it helps deliver classic analogue tone and dynamic modern sounds with a analog vibe.

The new System-8 possesses similar characteristics like the rest of its family in the Aira range and also the latest releases from Roland. The design of the new System-8 is near-replicated from the Systrem-1, giving back a retro mixer, Osc1 and 2 LFO, and Mod sections, with the massive real-time controls allowing dedicated buttons, sliders and knobs.

The new additions to the System-8 offers a third/sub oscillator, a 16-steo sequencer, upper/lower key split, Cv/Gate out and the three as well as the new Plug Out controls. As mentioned in the live-stream, the New Roland System-8 will be available later this year in October.
