Pioneer Announces New Festival-Ready DJ Gear

dj.jpg

The new gear is for professional DJs, at professional DJ prices. Set for release in July 2016, the new CDJ and DJM will set you back US$4,999 and US$5,999 respectively, so you’d want to hope you’re playing the kind of gigs that will pay for it in no time.

You get what you pay for though, with 32-bit D/A conversion, 96 kHz/24-bit high resolution playback, and no loss in sound quality when connecting to house sound systems. Furthermore, the Pro DJ Link software makes it simple to connect your SP-16 when it gets released, and the KUVO gateway provides for easy sharing of your sets.

It looks like the ultimate touring rig for the busy DJ, with 13-inch LCD screens meaning you’ll never lose track of your MP3s, and great reliability meaning you can chill out and focus on the tunes instead of worrying about the gear.
