Epiphone and Joe Bonamassa announce signature Flying V

Based off one of Joe Bonamassa’s favourite vintage guitars, “Amos” is a reproduction of one of the first of 91 Korina Flying V’s to be produced in 1958. After working closely with Epiphone’s luthiers in Nashville to ensure every detail of the original guitar was accurately reproduced, Bonamassa was reportedly thrilled with the accuracy of the signature model, simply stating that “Epiphone nailed it.”

The 1958 “Amos” Korina Flying V retains the neck profile, action and design of Bonamassa’s original Flying V, as well as adding Probucker 2 and 3 pickups in the neck and bridge position and a blackwood fingerboard. The guitar also features CTS electronics, a LockTone ABR Tune-O-Matic bridge, and a 50’s style hardcase, as well as a hand signed certificate of authenticity.

While there’s no word on when we’ll see these guitars down under, stay tuned to Mixdown for all updates regarding the Joe Bonamassa “Amos” Korina Flying V.
