Cort Guitars Introduces New GB75JH Electric Bass

Centring the tone, feel and look of the GB75JH around its Swamp Ash body, the GB75JH is lightweight, but promises a strong, punchy tone to match its bold aesthetic. Visually, the GB75JH showcases distinctive grain patterns through a transparent finish and clear pickguard.

Matching the body is a Canadian hard maple neck, providing stability with a warm, beefy tone and reinforced upper midrange. The GB75JH boasts an ergonomic neck joint to facilitate easy access to the upper register of the maple fingerboard, with dot inlays and 21 frets (47.5 mm scale) to reduce tendon stress and awkward positions.

The model is equipped with two-band EQ with passive-active push-pull. The new Tone Bass Humbucker pickup provides power and sensitivity for a variety of playing techniques, and an Alnico V magnet with 41AWG wire maintains power and clarity. The Humbucker is paired with a VTB-ST single coil pickup to cover the tonal spectrum and string vibration is critically managed by the solid-steel high-precision Omega Bridge.
